Justice as fairness

John Rawls are aici [p.49] o idee interesanta:

...[r]evised statement of the two principles of justice..

(a) Each person has the same indefeasible claim to a fully adequate scheme of equal basic liberties, which scheme is compatible with the same scheme of liberties for all;

(b) Social and economic inequalities are to satisfy two conditions: first, they are to be attached to offices and positions open to all under conditions of fair equality and opportunity; and second, they are to be to the greatest benefit of the least-advantaged members of society (the difference principle)

Uitindu-ma asa putintel in jur, eu cred ca cel de al doilea principiu nu este respectat nu doar in Romania, ci in nici una dintre socitetatile pe care in mod uzual le numim democratice.... Probabil ca aceasta este "promisiunea" incalcata a turbocapitalismului nostru postmodern, nascatoriu de oligarhie care ocupa pozitiile datatoare de inegalitate nu prin competitia deschisa tuturor, si nu pentru indeplinirea "difference principle"...oricum.
